To improve : a few non-usefull information have been set but work remain to do
Empty : a marker have been located on the map but there is no yet information into it.
Missing : no marker have been created yet for this concert

Il y a encore beaucoup de travail.
Beaucoup de sites ne sont pas encore sur la carte, et quasiment tous les marqueurs actuels sont vides !
Consulter le marqueur du concert d'Atlanta pour voir un exemple des infos que l'on pourrait intégrer dans chaque marqueur.

There is still a big work to do.
Many venues are not yet added on the map, and almost each mark is actually empty !
Have a look on the Atlanta mark to see what kind of information can be filled in markers.

Help Wanted !

If people here feels attracted to participate to the improvement of the map, any help is greatly welcomed !!

I see two kind of possible helps


1) Map Updates
This is to gain editing rights, to create, edit, delete anything you want on the map.
Even if I make regularly backups of the map's data, I will reserve this for people I can trust, by having meet you during concerts or having discuss with you from long time on Libera's forum

For this help profile, you will have to love spending lot of time on Google search and Google map, and you will have to love being precise and meticulous about information and locations.
A marker need to be put exactly on the venue, not on a street in the neighborhood

You will also have to feel at ease with the Google Map "Rich Text" features, for inserting links or images into the markers.

(you must to be registered on the forum, otherwise I will not be able to answer you).



2) Information research
This is an easyer way to participate to the map project.
It consist of searching information on Internet about video songs shooting places, about concert venues, about song lists, choristers lists, photos, videos and so. Any kind of information that can be usefull to be added into the markers.

The information can then be provided here, by simply replying to this topic.
This is possible even for not registered people
This forum is widely opened, anyone can write messages without to bother to create an account (but of course it's better to do so if you intend to come back regularly )

Information added here on the topic will then be used by the map's updaters to improve each marker concerned


Important :
The information you can find should be checkable. Ideally with a link to the source site you have found.
This is because the Libera map is interesting only if the information displayed are trustable.

Important (bis) :
The photos or video you may find on internet must to be in public access, freely accessible to anyone without having to create an account somewhere to gain access


Of course, if you find any error or mistake somewhere on the map or into a marker, feel free to expose it here into the topic

Voici quelques photos prises ce week-end dans le parc londonien "Chiswick House and Gardens"

Pour rappel, ce parc à servi au tournage de la vidéo encore inconnue (à priori pour Eternal Light) où on voit tous les Libera en arc de cercle devant un pont



Ce parc Chiswick est un endroit très romantique, un vrai bijou, et chose rare, peu fréquenté par les touristes !
(alors qu'a Regent Park, très beau lui aussi, j'ai croisé tellement de touristes de toutes langues que je me suis cru aux pieds de la tour Eiffel ! )

L'une des entrées du parc s'effectue sous une extraordinaire voute de feuillage !
Dès les premiers pas on est sous le charme, sans compter sur les couleurs superbes de l'automne, et le sentiment d'avoir presque un parc entier pour soi seul !

Là encore il s'agit d'un lieu de tournage utilisé récemment par Libera, sans doute pour le clip de Eternal Light.

Le parc Primrose Hill est un petit parc attendant au très grand Regent Parc.


Lors de mon cours séjours à Londres le week-end dernier, j'avais assez peu organisé ce que je comptais aller voir.
J'ai voulu aller voir le parc de la photo Libera, et regardant mon plan de Londres je me suis souvenus que c'était à Regent Park

Parfais, me voilà parti, très beau parc, immense, de grandes étendues d'herbe, des arbres superbes, des oiseaux en liberté partout (canards, cygnes, oies, hérons,...) des écureuils innombrables (et vraiment pas farouches).... mais je ne parvenais pas à trouver le site de la photo !

Je voyais bien au loin dépasser l'immeuble de bureau et la tour British Télécom, c'était bien là que la photo avait été prise, pas l'ombre d'un doute.
... Mais d'un autre coté là où j'étais c'était trop plat... trop arboré... et puis sur la photo il n'y avait pas ces terrains de rugby en plein parc que j'avais devant moi !


Ne comprenant pas, perdu et fatigué après avoir parcouru le Regent Parc pendant plus d'une heure au pas de charge, j'ai fini par me poser sur un banc pour re-re-regarder mon plan.
Et là, tilt ! Bon sang mais c'est bien sûr ! Primrose Hill !! Je le savais en plus !!


Hop, une rue à traverser, et on y arrive tout de suite ! Grrrrr !!

Ca grimpe un peu, enfin ! Moi qui désespérait de voir le moindre monticule dans le Regent Parc !
J'ai d'ailleurs pu me rendre compte que les gamins du coin eux savent bien que là il y a une pente sympa, fallait faire gaffe en montant, ça y allait les patinettes !
Arrivé au sommet de la butte, c'était la folie touristiques ! Toujours au moins 20 personnes sur la petite esplanade en pavés, très difficile de faire des photos dégagées.
Beaucoup de monde grimpe la colline en passant par l'herbe plutôt qu'utiliser les allées bitumées, du coup il y a une large zone de terre nue au sommet... dommage.


Après avoir patienté un bon moment, il y a eu un petit vent froid qui a commencé à venir, ça a fait s'envoler tous les touristes comme des moineaux, et j'ai pu faire quelques photos dégagées, ouf !
